So, a friend of mine mentioned this on her Facebook page.
Facebook, which I generally abstain from using,
but I have a page which allows me to view my friend's and family member's photographs.
I took a look.
Hmmm!!!
Not good.
My email address had tons and tons of information,
including the two Youtube videos I have online of my children.
They have a privacy feature:
...which I used.
Now, a note to consider.
Do to "security" reasons you are only allowed to use
your email address 3 times to remove a page of information.
Since I regularly use two different email addresses, one at Yahoo and one at Gmail
I wasn't too concerned. That gave me 6 different pages to remove.
I removed 5 pages and I'm not 100% sure I totally removed myself
from this searcher.
Worse and MORE important, in my mind,
is the fact that my children are locatable on this searcher.
Both Kyler's and Loralai's email addresses, which are very very very selectively given out
were located in Tokyo, Tokyo Japan. Their IP Addresses are given on the public access pages.
Too close for my comfort.
Their names were NOT found in the search.
This search engine is NOT perfect.
When I put my mom's email address into the search,
it located her in Tokyo, Tokyo Japan.
However, she did just visit.
What concerns me the most:
When I put my in-laws land line telephone (which is disconnected now),
into the searcher...
It gave me a Google Earth picture of their house
with an arrow pointing it out.
