So, I purchased a new pan so I could try a new recipe.
Yum!!!!!
Tamagoyaki
Recipe: (that I used, there are many!)
4 eggs
1/2 T oil (for the pan)
2 T sugar
1 T Soy Sauce
(we have discovered this serves 2-3 adults)
Tools:
Pan, basting brush, pancake turner, & cooking chopsticks (or fork)
(hands are my mom!)
Beat eggs.
Add in sugar, stir well.
WAIT for the pan to heat up.
Pour a thin layer of egg on the bottom of the pan.
This picture is probably a bit too much.
Once the egg mixture is no longer wet, scrap into a long pile at one end of the pan.
Pour another thin layer, under and around the pile of egg and covering the pan.
Once the layer is cooked (no longer wet), roll the egg pile onto the new layer.
(Think burrito.)
Pour another thin layer of egg mixture.
Pour, cook, roll, repeat several times...
Hint: scrape the edges of the egg prior to rolling.
