It has been 3 weeks since we finally left Japan.
I've been homesick and so have the kids to a degree.
We miss Japan. We miss the life we had there.

Things here are interesting.
Shortly after we arrived I developed a rash.
Initially I thought it was an allergic reaction to my mom's laundry soap.
But, as I watched it progress I realized the rash had started prior to our leaving Japan.
I was able to talk myself into my mom's dermatology clinic.
The doctor I saw was great.
She took "samples" from the rash on both of my legs (OUCH)
and
she found a "funny" mole on my shoulder, so she took it off too.
The rash on my legs are getting better,
but we still don't know just what it is yet.
I should find out next week.

We've started doing some homeschooling.
Just a bit of reading, art projects, and math-critical thinking games.

We're watching Japan closely.
At this point I have no intention to return.
The nuclear power plants at Fukashima are NOT stable.
My in-laws keep telling me they don't see how the Dept. of State
could recall the Vol. Departure anytime soon.
We're also hoping A can get orders soon.

B was just talking about you guys today-- wearing barrettes that you got her and looking at old pictures. . . .anyways, just know that we are thinking of you guys and B is sending goopy toddler kisses!!
